I used to be a news reporter and writer/producer for the North American division of ABS-CBN News, one of the major news networks of the Philippines. My old boss won the Nobel Peace Prize! Incredible.

I went on to executive produce “Pusong Pinoy sa Amerika (Into the Hearts of Filipinos in America),” an immigration current affairs program hosted by respected immigration attorney Lourdes Santos Tancinco, for the Philippines’ other major news network, GMA. The show won numerous awards for journalistic excellence.

I tend to remember things. Super random, “trivial” things…which has served me well. In 2011 I became a two-time Jeopardy! champion. I also appeared on Win Ben Stein’s Money in 2000. Being an ABC employee has pretty much made it impossible for me to compete on any current or future trivia game shows, sadly.
